I buy a new saddle, can I exchange my old saddle?

If the saddle you want to exchange is current and in good condition, we will take your saddle and you will receive a discount on the new saddle. We determine the value of your "old" saddle.

Can a 3-year-old horse already have a new saddle?

Yes, you can. After all, it is very important for a young horse that his first experiences with the saddle are positive.

We do see that horses in general undergo the greatest physical change from 3 to 4 years. The condition of the horse plays an important role in this. If the horse is in too poor (too skinny) or too rich (too fat) condition, it is not always wise to have a new saddle fitted.

The most important premise is that the saddle fits well. We try to estimate how the horse will develop on the basis of our knowledge and experience. If possible, we take this into account with the size and adjustment options of the saddle.

Can I use the same saddle for several horses?

A saddle will always mold itself to the horse and rider. If the different horses are not too different from each other then you can probably use the same saddle. Of course you cannot use the same saddle on a very wide and a very narrow horse. In case of small differences, you can use a saddle pad/saddle support.

I have a new horse, can I put the saddle of my previous horse on it?

If the different horses are not too different from each other then you can probably use the same saddle. In case of small differences, you can use a saddle pad / saddle pad. It is advisable to have a saddle check performed before riding with your saddle. Our saddle fitters come to your location for all brands of saddles.

Do you sell 2nd hand saddles?

Yes, we sell used saddles. We have usually obtained these saddles through trade-in. We do not come to your home with used saddles. We do advise you to come and fit the horse with us for a used saddle. We can then give you advice on what suits you and your horse best, we are happy to do that and free of charge. In general, we do not exchange used saddles for 2nd hand saddles.
