You want to focus on riding, training, and enjoying your horse, not worrying about your new saddle. The EquiChaser is a discreet tracker that you can have installed in your saddle, so you always know where it is without compromising comfort or appearance.

What is the EquiChaser?

The EquiChaser is a discreet saddle tracker that is installed in the saddle by a saddle fitter. The device uses Apple AirTag technology, allowing you to track the location of your saddle via the Find myApple's network.

You use the EquiChaser saddle tracker via your iPhone. No subscription or separate app is required: everything works within the familiar Apple environment.

How does it work?

You can have the saddle tracker installed in a new Fryso saddle, as well as in existing saddles. Installation is also possible with other saddle brands, depending on the construction.

The tracker is permanently attached to your saddle, but is not visible from the outside and does not disturb your horse.

After installation, you can install the tracker on your phone and track your saddle. Currently, EquiChaser is only available on iPhone, Android support is in development.

The system will last at least 5 years without any maintenance.

A small addition, a big difference

A saddle tracker doesn't prevent theft, but it does increase the chance of recovery and, above all, offers peace of mind. The EquiChaser is therefore a well-thought-out addition to a valuable asset.

Good to Know

  • The EquiChaser is transferable when selling your saddle
  • The EquiChaser is guaranteed for 5 years, but it typically lasts longer. You'll receive a notification in your app when its lifespan is approaching.
  • It's not possible to extend the lifespan. You can, however, have a new EquiChaser installed.
  • The EquiChaser is not available for purchase separately.
  • The following saddle brands usually have a wooden tree and wool-filled panels and are therefore likely to be suitable for the EquiChaser: Albion, Connect, Crown, Custom, Empire, Frank Baines, Fryso, Hulsebos, Ideal, Schutte, Skyway, Tribal, Vivary.
  • Treeless saddles, saddles with a plastic tree and/or foam/air-filled cushion are currently not suitable.

How much does the EquiChaser cost?

Installing the EquiChaser costs €229, including VAT. This includes the tracker itself. There are no subscription fees after installation.

The EquiChaser saddle tracker is installed in the saddle in our saddle workshop. You can have the tracker installed on a new Fryso saddle before delivery, bring your own saddle to us, or ship it to us at your own expense.
