Out of dissatisfaction with the fit of the existing regular saddles on the Friesian horse, we (Elzelien Renssen and Sybren Minkema) have developed our own saddle. It has now been more than 25 years since the Fryso Saddle was finally launched on the market and Fryso Saddles have become a household name worldwide.
In particular, the Friesian Horse and other round-ribbed horses have now embraced the Fryso Saddles. It is also increasingly finding its way among users of the Warmblood horse.
Our Fryso Saddles are used on all types and breeds of horses, especially Friesian horses, KWPN, PRE and other round-ribbed breeds. Many riders c. Amazons have found that their horse benefits from more shoulder freedom, spinal freedom, a short panel and a looser horse. There are various models of Fryso saddles in the range; Depending on the anatomy of the horse and the rider/amazon, the use and the wishes of the rider/amazon, it is determined which model is suitable for the combination.
It is also possible to compose a Fryso® saddle entirely according to your wishes and to measure. We find that word of mouth in particular works best for us. That means satisfied customers who recommend our saddle to other riders and amazons.
