Developing talent, that is what the Fryso Florian Bokaal is all about.
This year, this unique competition will once again offer a stage to young Frisian horses with a talent for dressage or harness work. For owners and riders, it is the chance to have their horse assessed on talent, movement, harmony and suppleness. But perhaps even more important: it is an educational process in which guidance and development are central.
The Fryso Florian Bokaal is a collaboration between Fryso Zadels, Florian Horse Food, and the Royal Friesian Horse StudbookTogether we are committed to the sporting future of the Frisian horse.
The first step: a selection competition. This is all about gaits, carriage, suppleness and harmony. Horses that score 65% or higher are invited to the instruction days and may then present themselves again in the semi-finals during the central inspection. Then, on the final day, the grand finale beckons and the final battle for the trophy.

Do you own a talented young Friesian horse? Then you can participate if you're a KFPS member. There are six categories for dressage horses: 6-year-old mares, 4-year-old mares, 5-year-old mares, 6-year-old stallions/geldings, 4-year-old stallions/geldings, and 5-year-old stallions/geldings. For harness horses, there are two categories: mares and geldings/stallions 6-2 years old. You can register via MyKFPS.
