We recommend ordering one size smaller than your horse's usual size. Fryso blankets have a unique fit that differs from regular blankets, so ordering a larger size is unnecessary. The blanket fits if it reaches just behind the buttocks. A blanket shouldn't hang down behind the buttocks, as this will pull the blanket backward.
How to measure a blanket size: Measure across the back from the withers to the root of the tail (top length, e.g. 140 cm), or measure along the side of the horse from the middle of the bow to the back of the buttock (bottom length, e.g. 190 cm)

Fryso blankets have a unique fit, tailored to the Baroque, Friesian, or broad horse. This is due to the special shoulder cut of our blankets, which allows the blanket to fit snugly around the neck and contour to the shoulder. This eliminates the need for a vent, ensuring the blankets are stable.
Fryso rugs feature a durable 1250D outer fabric that is waterproof and breathable. The stay-dry lining wicks away moisture instantly, allowing you to place the rug on a wet or sweaty horse, eliminating the need to change rugs. The Fryso rain rug is unpadded and can be worn from +15 to 5/0 degrees. The neck is provided with covered Velcro for attaching a neck blanket.
Fryso blankets are stylishly designed in black with gold-colored details and high-quality finishes. The surcingles and front closure feature sturdy and practical T-closures. The front closure is finished with a flap to prevent the horse from getting caught on anything. The back has a horizontal buttock strap with a plastic finish.
