Fryso Florian Cup 2026

The future of the Frisian horse begins at the Fryso Florian Bokaal

The Fryso Florian Bokaal is about more than just competition. It is a journey in which young Friesian horses are given the opportunity to grow, learn, and showcase their talent. With an eye for both dressage and harness work, this competition provides a valuable platform for horses with both aptitude and ambition.

For riders and owners, it is a unique experience. Not only are the horses assessed on their movement, suppleness, balance, and harmony, but there is also ample room for development. Expert guidance and feedback ensure that participants make progress throughout the process – in the ring and beyond.

Behind the Fryso Florian Bokaal stands a strong collaboration between Fryso Zadels, Florian Horse Food and the Royal Friesian Horse StudbookWith a shared passion for the Friesian horse, they join forces to provide optimal guidance to young talent towards the sport of tomorrow.

From first selection to the final

The competition starts with the selection trials, where horses are judged on their basics: the quality of the gaits, carriage, and suppleness. Those who achieve a score of 65% or higher may participate in the instruction days.

This is followed by the semi-final during the central inspection, where the participants present themselves again and demonstrate the progress they have made. Finally, the best combinations come together on the final day. There, guest riders will present the horses to assess the quality of the horse as fairly as possible. After that, the decision is made, and it becomes clear who can call themselves the winner of the Fryso Florian Bokaal 2026.
